Channel V Countdowns: A Global Music Network

In June 2008, Channel V Korea was launched as the South Korean affiliate of Channel V, a global music network that brings together some of the best in music entertainment from around the world. The channel plays a wide range of countdowns, including the United States 22, UK 22, Top 10 Theme, iTunes Top 50, and Twin Action, among others.

One notable affiliate is Channel V India, which currently boasts a team of talented VJs (video jockeys). These VJs play an integral part in making the channel's content engaging and interactive. Channel V has undergone some changes over the years, having previously been known as Club until 2007 and then Channel 2 until 2009. Since January 1, 2008, Channel V International has been operating from its original studio in Hong Kong, which is also home to other affiliates such as Channel V China, Taiwan, and India. Founded after MTV Asia parted ways with the STAR TV Network, Channel V has continued to thrive and evolve over the years.
